Rosalie Racine
Candidature — VP Pedagogical affairs, family medicine/
VP CAP-MF (affaires pédagogiques, médecine familiale)
Voting members,
My name is Rosalie and I'm a first-year resident in family medicine. Over the past year, I’ve had the privilege of serving as Assistant Vice President of Pedagogical Affairs (CAP-FM), alongside my role as a Family Medicine delegate within the ARM. This experience has allowed me to grow as a communicator, collaborator, and advocate, while developing strong skills in leadership, organization, and representing resident perspectives at multiple levels. Through my work within the ARM, as well as with the FMRQ and the CFPC, I’ve gained a deeper understanding of the structures that shape our training and how to navigate them effectively to drive meaningful change.
My priority has always been to ensure that family medicine residents feel heard, supported, and represented. Whether addressing rotation-specific challenges or broader curricular issues, I am committed to fostering learning environments that are equitable, responsive, and conducive to both professional and personal growth.
I am seeking the role of Vice President of Pedagogical Affairs, Family Medicine, because I want to build on this foundation. I bring continuity, institutional knowledge, and a genuine commitment to advocacy. I believe in working collaboratively with residents, faculty, and partner organizations to translate feedback into actionable improvements. My goal is to strengthen communication channels, promote transparency, and ensure that our educational experiences continue to evolve in a way that reflects residents’ needs. I would be honored to continue representing you in this capacity.
Thank you for your trust and consideration.
