Board of Executives
President
DR RAMI HABIB:
Rami Habib, a Medical Oncology resident, has been serving in the ARM since 2022 and has been in the Specialties Pedagogical Affairs portfolio since 2023. He’s particularly interested in residency accreditation, competency-based medical education, and safeguarding student rights in matters of union affaires, promotion and disciplinary challenges. He also sits on committees related to all residency affairs, including academic and union-related issues.
VP Internal Affairs
DR LIANG CHEN:
Liang is a PGY-6 in Critical Care Medicine and General Internal Medicine resident who has been serving in the ARM since 2022. He manages ARM communications (newsletter, social media, website) with the resident body and serves as the chief electoral officer for ARM elections. He has interests in medical education and resident advocacy.
VP Finance
DR KENDRICK LAM:
Kendrick is a second year Family Medicine resident at the Queen Elizabeth Health Complex, and he completed his medical degree at University of Montreal. Kendrick will be serving as the VP Finance this year, having previously held similar roles for many years at the Féderation médicale étudiante du Québec and the Association des Étudiantes et Étudiants en Médecine de l'Université de Montréal. He will notably be responsible for the funding of your special projects and the ARM's events.

DR MATHIEU GROULX:
Mathieu is a fifth-year Emergency Medicine resident who will be acting as the main liaison for all residents at McGill pertaining to the collective agreement. He holds a bachelor's degree in law and served as Vice-President of the Fédération médicale étudiante du Québec (FMEQ), all prior to beginning his residency. During residency, he has had the pleasure of serving as co-chief resident of his program. These experiences have fueled his passion for advocacy, and he is excited to represent the interests of his colleagues to our employers this year.

DR SABRINA BERGERON:
Sabrina is a second year Diagnostic and Molecular Pathology resident. She obtained her medical degree and doctoral degree from McGill University. During her academic journey, Sabrina has developed an interest in medical education sitting on various committees at the institutional and provincial level. Sabrina is thrilled to take on this new role of VP Pedagogical Affairs (Specialties) and to continue protecting the residents' rights in matters of promotions and pedagogical challenges.

(Comité des Affaires pédagogiques) – Family Medicine
DR PAUL PHAN:
Paul is a PGY-2 Family Medicine resident at St. Mary’s Hospital. He completed his medical degree at Université de Sherbrooke following earlier studies in dental medicine in Montreal. Paul will be serving as the VP CAP for Family Medicine where he will advocate for residents at a local and provincial level.
In this role, he represents the voice of McGill’s Family Medicine residents at meetings with the FMRQ and McGill’s Faculty of Postgraduate Medical Education Committee.
VP Wellness
DR MEREDITH RÉMY:
Meredith is currently training in Pediatrics at McGill University. She earned her MD at Université Laval before joining McGill University for residency training. Her role will entail organizing the Resident Wellness day as well as a variety of other sustainable initiatives to promote wellbeing across residents in all programs. She will also be sitting on the Comité du bien-être des résident.e.s (CBER) and co-chair the Committee of Residents Wellness (CreW). She is passionate about resident wellness and devoted to promoting health, resilience, balance and well-being during residency training.
VP Events
DR BENSON WAN:
Benson is an R2 in Radiation Oncology, and will be the VP Events for this upcoming year. He will be in charge of organizing the society's social events, and other projects such as the clothing sale and the Special Projects Fund.
VP CPEM (Comité de planification des effectifs médicaux)
DR JUDY IBRAHIM:
I am a PGY-3 in medical genetics. I served in the ARM as the JGH site chief last year and I am excited to represent residents at the FMRQ CPEM this year. Fun fact: I previously transitioned from a resident to a staff pediatrician. I will use my experience to make your transition easier!
