Board of Executives
President
Ghassen is a fourth-year resident in psychiatry and has previously completed his undergraduate medical training at McGill University. He will serve a second term as president, after previously sitting on the Board of Representatives as an elected delegate and on the ARM Governance Review Subcommittee. He has also been involved in various leadership positions in his own program, most notably in representing residents’ interests in academic and CBME-related matters.
VP Internal Affairs
DR LIANG CHEN:
Liang is a fourth-year General Internal Medicine resident who will serve to manage ARM communications with the resident body and run ARM elections. He has interests in medical education and resident advocacy, and has had past roles as the Chief Medical Resident of Internal Medicine and Executive President of the Medical Student Society of McGill University.

DR VICTOR KANG:
My name is Victor, and I am a second-year resident in family medicine. I will be the VP Finance this year and it’s a role I am quite used to! Fun fact, I was the MSS VP Finance for four years! I look forward to meeting many of you during our ARM events and helping you fund your special projects.

DR. ÉLISE GIROUARD-CHANTAL:
Élise is a second-year resident in family medicine and has previously completed her undergraduate medical training at McGill University. She will serve her first mandate as VP Union Affairs. Previously involved in political affairs at the Fédération médicale étudiante du Québec (FMEQ) and the Government affairs and advocacy committee (GAAC) at McGill, she has been involved in leadership and advocacy for many years. Her priority is to defend residents’ rights and foresee the respect of the collective agreement, thus nurturing a benevolent environment allowing professional and personal fulfillment of all McGill residents.

DR ANDRE LAMETTI:
André Lametti is a Diagnostic and Molecular Pathology resident (class of '25) and has served in the Pedagogical Affairs (specialties) portfolio since 2022. In addition, he has a special interest in residency accreditation, and sits on the McGill PGME Accreditation and QI Committee, the Royal College's Accreditation Committee, and the Canadian Residency Accreditation Consortium's Accreditation Standards Improvement Committee.

DR KRISTINE MA:
Kristine is an R2 in family medicine at the Herzl Family Practice Centre. She completed her medical degree at Université de Montréal. Kristine will be serving as the VP CAP for Family Medicine for the 2023–2024 academic year. As part of this role, she will also be representing the interests of residents at FPGEC and FMRQ meetings. VP Wellness
DR KIM WONG:
Kimberly Wong is a fourth year general pediatrics resident and has served as a chief resident of General Pediatrics (2022-2023). She has also held the role of Pediatrics Specialty delegate on the ARM. Her interests include well-being, advocating for residents and supporting learners through challenging situations. Additionally, Kimberly loves event planning and organizing special pick-me-ups for hardworking residents!
VP Events
Jonathan is a 5th-year resident in Diagnostic and Molecular Pathology. He has served four years on the ARM committee, and his previous roles included IMG delegate (2020-2021) and VP Events (2022-2023). Currently in his last year of residency and planning to host memorable events for all residents. Look out for major events planned for this year, such as the Welcome Back Party, Halloween Party, and the End-of-Year Formal Night!
VP CPEM (Comité de planification des effectifs médicaux)
DR PHILIPPE CADIEUX:
Dr Philippe Cadieux is an R3 in Diagnostic Radiology and will serve as your VP CPEM for the academic year 2023-2024. He will act as a reference and as a link with the FMRQ regarding fellowships and jobs/PEMs in Quebec.
