Resident Mindfulness Seminar

  • Strathcona Anatomy & Dentistry Building 3640 Rue University Montréal, QC, H3A 0C7 Canada (map)

Register now for the first ever Mindfulness Seminar! This is a whole-day event that will take place at the Center for Whole Person Care located in the Strathcona Anatomy & Dentistry Building. Mindfulness has been described as “the practice of moment-to-moment, open-hearted awareness, focused in the present moment.” Mindfulness in medicine is increasing in popularity as a tool for stress reduction amongst clinicians, and as a way to enhance clinical encounters.

The event is subsidized by the ARM and the McGill Faculty of Medicine. There is a $20 registration fee that covers a healthy lunch and the cost of paying our instructor, Dr. Patricia Dobkin. As this is our inaugural mindfulness event, registration is limited to the first 22 respondents. Sign-up for the introductory seminar today! Sign-up Form
